South African’s Walk-in Enquiry on our Smart City Solutions

It was 3 years ago in 2018, a South African customer for Mercedes service workshop in South Africa came down to Singapore to visit and enquire with us on our IoTKiss products and solutions. We met him at where he was staying at the Capella Resort, Singapore. We discussed and showed him a live demo on our products. He was especially keen to our QR code system which we eventually worked with him on back in South Africa.

At the time, QR Code systems were very normal and lacked encryption. We had installed our QR code with API at data centre in Singapore. Later on we transferred our QR code engine to their local South Africa data centre with the upgraded QR Code system with encryption. Giving them more Self-service flexibility to move forward for a Smart City solution.

Back than the QR code is very normal and easily decodable. Now we encrypted this to value add with encryption and added security. We can now be used in invoicing, visitor management, visitor pass with date/time control, and more.
